I have Quick Titler, Titler Pro 6 Ultimate, Heroglyph 4.0, and Vistitle 2.7 on my machine. However, if you had never seen the missing features, you would not miss them. I have Titler Pro Ultimate 6 on one of my systems and TP for Edius 9 does all the basics.for free. Lite versions are there to entice you to purchase the That is exactly what New Blue wants you to do :) There is nothing wrong with that either. #New blue titler pro 5 key upgradeI was going mad trying to find the share bit so I guess I'll have to upgrade if I really want that feature. Make sure your "TP for Edius 9" settings are correct as well. Be very specific as to which version you are using. My Titler Pro 5 and Titler Pro 5 Ultimate look pretty much the same as Titler Pro 6/Ultimate. I was using Titler Pro 6 Ultimate in the video. I know it is listed in the drop down as Titler Pro 5, it really isn't. Titler Pro 5, and 6 work pretty much the same. You have to be very clear about the version you are talking about. I deal with a lot of this in the third video, which I just posted and is at the end of the playlist, where I recreate a title I use a lot I in my tutorials. This means that setting the duration can be a pain. So don't bother watching NB tutorials about that. The other thing missing the is "elastic timeline". If you stick to the way Jerry says it - save each title as a file, not a template, you should be ok. The first time I tried it ALL my titles in a project changed to the template title. #New blue titler pro 5 key full versionAfter that you have very little control where the full version has an extra window to control which titles have with templates and the shared/not shared option. You do this by saving your own title to the library inside NBTP and it askes if you want it shared. With the EDIUS version of NBTP5 you can kind of make templates and then change the original and it changes all the others, which is what the "shared" "not shared" thing is about but I have to work through a few examples myself to see it how it works in reality. This might be an easier way, depending on your workflow.ĬREATING MULTIPLE TITLES AND THEN IMPORTING INTO EDIUS.mp4ġ8618Thank you Jerry. If you are using the TP for Edius9 version, you will notice some difference. You said you were using New Blue FX Titler Pro 5. The key is everything works from the Titler Pro Interface. In order to create a permanent version, YOU-the user, have to do this manually. Unlike Quicktitler or Vistitle, which automatically save titles in your project folder with specific numerical names, Titler Pro doesn't save to the project folder and add a specific name. This also goes for choosing the "Don't Save" option. This means, if you save a title out of TP onto the Edius timeline it will be good as long as you have the project.unless, you modify the title and save back to Edius.Īt this point, you have overwritten the temporary title with a new temporary title. I consider the titles on the timeline as destructive. All of the Titler Pro versions work pretty much the same in the way they handle titles.
